11th December 2015 marks the inauguration of Alok’s very first innovation lab, Alok Technology Incubation Centre (ATIC). The ATIC Lab is based in Delhi and offers a state-of-the-art facility with a wide array of testing equipment required to drive innovation in the masterbatch industry.
ATIC is a sum of experience, commitment and passion of people of Alok. At this lab, our focus will be to create customized solutions that address the evolved needs of our customers and partners. In equal measure we invite and encourage academia to participate in this industry changing phenomenon and promise to work together to make a sustainable difference – to profits, people and planet.

At the heart of ATIC is our philosophy of collaboration and co-curation that will help plastics become safer, sustainable and affordable. Alok is already well renowned for its industry leading R&D capability. But, we continue to stay hungry to create a new benchmark of innovation in the masterbatch industry.
I foresee specialty chemicals playing a bigger role in widening the expanse of manufacturing sector in India. One can already see the customer need shift from a low-cost solution to value based solution. Every conclusive solution that germinates in the ATIC lab will be our contribution towards the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative.
We hope that the new lab will help us take a major step towards achieving the goals that we as a company strive for; namely leadership, innovation, partnership and ethics. We are happy to be fulfilling the promises made by our value proposition – “adding good”.
